In an environment that requires communication, creativity and collaboration on a day to day basis; a fresh, open and dynamic design is essential for creating a space that establishes the identity of the product. With a joint set-up of approximately 650 workstations, the Newsroom is designed for the comprehensive functioning of all the 3 arms of the company – Hindustan Times, Hindi Hindustan, and Mint. The open space office concept is put into effect by placing the workstations in an organic arrangement enabling transparency and openness of the space with a great deal of privacy of an individual workplace. Glass partitions and other half-open elements for all meeting and cabin rooms ensures that there remains no barrier in visual communication and fluidity in the flow of information.
